Basic Castile Soap - Mint Oatmeal       Details Mint, its wonderful. This is a mixture of Spearmint, Peppermint and other essential oils, giving this bar a nice gentle yet present mint fragrance. Basic Castile Soap - Lavender       Details Our Basic Castile soap with Lavender, which has a wonderful history of over 2500 years. It has been used for antiseptic properties. Back in the 16th 17th centuries, lavender was used in washing to resist infection. Hospitals during WWI used Lavender to disinfect. Lavender has a relaxing calming and uplifting effect. We take our Basic Castile Soap and add Lavender essential oils to it, creating a refreshing Lavender bar.

Speciality Soap - Neem and Tea Tree Oil       Details Neem oil is a wonderful oil from Africa. The Neem tree, a tropical evergreen, leaves, bark and oil contain compounds with proven antiseptic, antiviral, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, anti-ulcer and antifungal properties and has been used for centuries. Tea Tree, or Melaleuca Tree, produces a wonder oil known for its healing qualities. It is believed to have Anti fungal Antiseptic, Anti microbial and other properties. These two great oils, along with Extra Virgin Olive, Hemp Seed, Grape Seed, Cocoa Butter, Palm Kernel and Coconut oils produces a wonderful bar. Its great all over your body but even more so after gardening. The scent of the bar is strong while washing but vanishes by the time you have dried off. The scent is from the Neem Seed Oil and Tea Tree Essential Oil, giving this bar what many people refer to as a medicinal scent. This is a popular bar, with many reordered.

Many Soap Alchemy Soaps Certified Vegan!

We are happy to announce that Most of Soap Alchemy's Soaps are now Certified Vegan! Our Pure Castile Line, Basic Castile Line and Specialty Soap Lines have been certified vegan by Vegan Action. The only soaps that are not are all of our Goat Milk Soaps, due to the fact that they obviously contain Goat Milk.

To be certified vegan is defined as "(products) containing no animal ingredients or animal
by-products (to include honey and sugar refined with bone char), using no animal ingredient
or by-product in the manufacturing process, and not being tested on animals by any company
or independent contractor."

Look for the Certified Vegan Logo on all of our packaging as well as by each
of the products in our online store which have been certified.

From Our Hands to Yours!

Our Hand Crafted Soaps are made from only the finest Natural Ingredients in small batches in our soap kitchens in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and on our farm just north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We take a great deal of pride and care in making soap. Our Soap Alchemist has tested each of his formulas to ensure that only the best soaps are sent to your home and would not put anything in the soap he would not use on his on body.

Each batch is carefully hand made from start to finish and then hand cut and carefully hand packaged and sealed before being sent to your door. Where possible, we use organic oils. The color of the various bars comes from the natural oils in the bars. The color can be different, varying by batch. This is because of the harvest the oils came from. We use oils that have a healthy value as the base oils in the soap.

As with all soaps, it is not meant for your eyes but is great on every other part of your body. Our soaps are for your whole body. Some people use our soaps for washing their hair as well. Our bars contain a range of oils. Take Jojoba oil, it is a wonderful oil for soap, lending moisturizing and emollient properties. Jojoba is also one of the more expensive oils. Our Soap Alchemist doesn't skimp though. The soap is created with you in mind, as a friend, giving you a soap that is truly a good soap, not a commercial process.

Our soaps are sold in two sizes. We have a Hand and Face bar as well as an All Over Body bar. (Since our soap is hand made and cut, there can be a minor difference in the final weight and color of the hand cut bars.) All bars are wrapped as shown.

We hope that you find as much enjoyment out of using our soaps as we do in crafting them. We're sure that once you try our Hand Crafted Soaps, you will never again want to purchase another commercially made bar or bottle of liquid soap again!
