A variety of mild soap, made from olive oil and sodium hydroxide. olive oil (ol-iv oil): noun
A fruit oil obtained from the olive (Olea europaea; family Oleaceae along with lilacs, jasmine and ash trees), a traditional tree crop of the Mediterranean Basin. It is commonly used in cooking, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and soaps and as a fuel for traditional oil lamps. Olive oil is healthier than other sources of alimentary fat because of its high content of monounsaturated fat (mainly oleic acid) and polyphenols.Topical application is quite popular with fans of natural health remedies. Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the preferred grade for moisturizing the skin, especially when used in the Oil Cleansing Method (OCM). OCM is a method of cleansing and moisturizing the face with a mixture of extra virgin olive oil, castor oil (or another suitable carrier oil) and a select blend of essential oils. Jeanne Calment, who holds the record for the longest confirmed lifespan, reportedly attributed her longevity and relatively youthful appearance (for her age) to olive oil, which she said she poured on all her food and rubbed into her skin. |

I don't usually write, but I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with your product. The Lemon Eucalyptus is as relaxing as it is refreshing in the morning shower. I love the creamy rich lather and the fact that even in the winter, my skin is never dry or itch anymore. The Crushed Grape Seed with Citrus is one of my favorites for a hand soap. It's a tough cleanser, yet it never dries out your hands. I hate lotions. They always feel greasy to me. But this soap seems to moisturize, without that greasy feeling. I can't wait to try all the other varieties! I would recommend this soap to anyone!! Great stuff!!!

The first time I used this soap I was very skeptical. My thought was soap
is soap who cares?! However after I used it, and then used commercial
liquid soap my attitude changed. I could immediately feel the difference in
my skin. My skin was all dry after using the commercial brand. I have been
using the Neem and Tea tree bar on my hair and it has significantly cut
down on my dandruff and my scalp is no longer dry and itchy!! I used to
always have incredibly dry skin on my legs in the winter, but this winter
has been different!!! I use to hate shaving, my skin would always burn
afterwards and I would always end up cutting myself. That has also changed
since I have been using Soap Alchemys shaving soap. It is by far the most
comfortable shave I have ever had!!! I will never use shaving cream again.
I am a huge fan of Soap Alchemy's products!!
